Angel Olsen is an American artist and singer hailing from St. Louis, Missouri who is a resident of Asheville North Carolina. Olsen's six studio albums are: Big Time, Half Way Home, Burn Your Fire for No Witness, and My Woman. My mother is a woman with a special capacity to love children. (on her parents who were the first to adopt her at three years old, and took care of her for a while after the birth.] As there's such a wide span of difference between us I became more interested in the way they grew up. I fantasized about the things it was like to be young in the 30s and '50s more so than other kids my age. Personal life. On April 16 2021 Olsen came out as gay. Olsen declared in 2022 Adele Thibodeaux, her partner of 5 years had decided to leave her relationship. She also dated singer Meg Duffy, a longtime acquaintance for a few months in 2020. Olsen was first seen in 2021, and she made public her romance with Meg Duffy through social networks. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Olsen began performing in coffee bars in the city during her teens. She soon began expanding her repertoire and gaining access to the community of artists who share similar views. In 2006, she moved to Chicago and began working with musicians from California like Emmett Kel as part of The Cairo Gang. All Mirrors, her previous album of 2019, was filled with Dark gothic-synthrock and a series of attempts at orchestral pop. Big Time, the first Olsen album to sing consciously of queer desire, is one of the genres with an established tradition of Country. It's logical in certain ways.
